Cami and Jack are looking for a forever home together. They are the outgoing, brave and curious ones of the litter. Cami has been out and about and ok with being handled almost the entire time we have known her despite being found as a feral kitten. She is very playful and the first to come running at play time or dinner time or anytime something is happening.
Jack (the orange one) took a little longer and he still has conflicting feelings about people. Jack is full of personality, leaning to the dominate side and as his trust in people grows he starting to show his sweet side. He is good company and will spend most of the day near people. He likes to walk back and forth on or off laps and has a huge purr. He will snuggle, climb on your lap and purr but his ears will go back. Perhaps he is still not sure it is safe. Jack will randomly decide to swat as though you have offended him only to return moments later for more snuggles. He is a bossy boy and nicknamed Smacky Jack as he will hit just about anything. He will use his claws some of the time but we are finding he is using them less as time goes on. Jack tends to only swat at hands reaching for him and he doesn’t scratch, only uses claws some of the time but he does leave stinging little poke wounds sometimes. It is worse with new people. If you are ok with working on that with Jack he will be a perfectly adorable cat friend!
We are looking for an indoor only home and they will likely take a while to settle in.
Jack will do best in a home without small children (safer for the children). They are good with other cats. The have met other kittens and adult cats and have shown they have great manners with other cats. We have not seen them interact with dogs.
Jack & Cami are about 6 months old, litter box trained, have their first vaccines, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas.
Their adoption fee is $600.00 for two (including tax). Our adoption procedures have changed due to COVID-19.
