Colby and Brie are looking for a forever home together. They are the gentler sweet ones of the litter. Colby is a big snuggle bug and loves to sit on your shoulders and nuzzle into your neck. He is a big warm purring scarf cat. Brie is a gentle timid girl who is very sweet and very shy. She likes when you come visit her on her high up on a cat post and is often caught sneaking up and spying on people. She loves to play with people and will get purring at snuggle time but only from her safe spot or close to it. Brie is extremely bonded to her siblings, but with time, effort and patience she will most likely become just as snuggly as the rest of them with people. Brie has just started to approach people for cuddles and is tolerating being picked up for a short amount of time.
We are looking for an indoor only home and they will likely take a while to settle in.
They came to us as feral kittens and we have been working on socializing them since October. They have come a very long way but they still need work. Brie will need someone who will slowly and gently initiate play and cuddle time. Colby only needs a boost into your arms or for you to catch him when he leaps onto you! He can be difficult to pry off when needed. Brie is defiantly curious about people and continues to work up the courage to get closer and closer especially when you are not looking. She has gone from a post in the other room to up on the desk right next to us in stages and the area she feels safe in is expanding daily.
Colby and Brie would do best in a home without small children due to their nervous nature. They are good with other cats. The have met other kittens and adult cats and have shown they have great manners with other cats. We have not seen them interact with dogs.
Brie will run away whenever there is a new noise, person or unexpected movement. Colby only considers it now and if he does move it is not far.
Colby & Brie are about 6 months old, litter box trained, have their first vaccines, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas.
