Sophia came to the pound after being hit by a car, thankfully she had only minor injuries. She is a bit of a nervous girl and is especially anxious when being walked along the street.
She loves everyone she knows and enjoys being cuddled and picked up. Like most puppies, Sophia tends to use her mouth when playing, but with a little training she will grow out of that habit. She has tons of fun playing with some of the little toys!
Now that she has recovered from her injuries, Sophia is ready to start her new life. She is looking for a loving home with a family who has the time and patience to build her confidence out in public and who is also ready to do all the fun training and socialization required for any puppy. Luckily Sophia is already house trained!
Please keep in mind that being a terrier mix and just a baby, Sophia will be a high energy dog and a 15+ year commitment.
Sophia will be at the pound for adoption viewing from 10:30am - 4pm on Friday April 4 and Saturday April 5. She will be spayed on April 8 and ready to go to her new home on April 9th. If you already have a dog, you are more than welcome to bring him or her to meet Sophia.
