Will came to the pound in pretty rough shape. This big boy had been living outside for a long time and was suffering from rotten teeth, an eye infection, and cat fight scars across his face. He has made major progress while in our care and this plushy guy has become the biggest love bug! If there is an available lap, he is in it! He loves big cheek rubs and has a big rumbling purr.
Will is very gentle, but when he reacts negatively he does use his paws. He doesn’t use his claws, but he will occasionally swat if you are doing something he doesn’t like. He will take treats by hand, but can be a little grabby (but it’s ok, he doesn’t have many teeth left after his dental).
Will seems very interested in other cats, but we have not seen them interact directly. We have not seen him with dogs or children. This handsome boy would love a quiet place to call home.
He will need to remain in an indoor only home.
Will is about 8-10 years old, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, has his first vaccines, has been treated for fleas, and recently had a dental. Will’s adoption fee is $350.00.
