Relic's previous owner passed away, and while family members did their best to manage having him, it's now time for him to have a new home of his own. He is one of the friendliest dogs we've met and thinks every single person he sees is just the best ever. Relic has shared a home with other dogs and a cat and got along with everyone very well. He is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is an all around fantastic dog.
He will need a securely fenced yard because if he has an opportunity to wander he will head off to try to make new friends all over the neighbourhood. He will also require regular brushing. Relic is a very intelligent working breed and will do best in a home where he will get lots of excersise, however at 4-6 years of age he has grown out of the crazy hyper border collie phase and has no problem quietly resting in his kennel between walks. Since he is a social butterfly, Relic would really love to be around his people a significant part of the day. He is also a few pounds overweight so it would be great for him to do some activities such as agilitiy or hiking.
Relic's adoption fee will be $240 and will include a 2015 dog licence.
