Victoria Animal Control Services Ltd. is a private company. We provide Animal Control and Poundkeeping services to municipal governments. We operate from our own Pound & Adoption facility located in the City of Victoria at 564 David St. (2 blocks from Hillside & Douglas)

We have been providing our services to the City of Victoria since 2004 and the District of Oak Bay since 2007.

DANGEROUS DOG MANAGEMENT
- We can respond anywhere on Southern Vancouver Island to: apprehend and confine vicious dog(s) and transport them to a secure facility or to a Veterinarian.
- Policy / Procedure to professionally investigate dog bite incidents to determine whether a dog should be declared as a Dangerous Dog.

ANIMAL CONTROL INFORMATION SYSTEM (ACIS) - Operational Software
- Our system is MS based and was customized by a master-programmer in consultation with Animal Control Officers, Licence Inspectors and Data Entry Clerks throughout a 5-year period.
- Establish / Track: Dog Ownership & Licensing - Animal Control Investigations - Poundkeeping History
- Simple data entry - Any or All category searches - Specific and partial information results
- ACIS produces:
  - detailed licence records
  - renewal & overdue mail-outs
  - customized licence forms
  - history of violations & actions - including: dates; locations; file numbers, impound numbers
  - alpha / numeric licence lists: by tag #; by street name; by owner name
  - canvasser lists by zones
  - dangerous dog lists
  - customize menus to suit your needs
- We provide: Initial training & then telephone support for the first 18 months
- System maintenance and upgrades can be arranged through the master programmer
