Blaikie and Daisy came to VACS after their owner passed away. They are both short hair black and white cats who are quite frightened by this sudden change in their lives. They are used to a senior owner and quiet apartment living, and we would love to either find them something similar, or have them adopted by a particularly patient person. Our priority is to find them a home together.
Blaikie is 12 years old and the braver of the two. If you spend a few days talking to him and getting to know him, he will reward you with lots of affection. He comes out of hiding full of purrs and looking for love. Blaikie has food allergies so he is missing patches of fur and needs a hypoallergenic diet. Thankfully we were provided with Blaikie's vet records which have documented his food allergy issue.
We were very surprised when we found out Blaikie's friend Daisy is 15 years old. She is in great shape with a beautiful, soft coat. Daisy is very shy and is not brave enough to come out of hiding yet and we are not pushing her. She will come out and show her true colours when she is ready.
