CJ

CJ is about the easiest going cat you’ll ever meet. This lovely guy enjoys spending time with people, but is also content to watch out the window and nap in his bed. He’s playful, but not too demanding. He likes to talk, but doesn’t scream. He’s just right.

When getting to know new people, CJ likes to be an "invisible cat." If he is given time to explore a new space while humans ignore him, he becomes the confident social boy we have come to know. He is good with children as long as they are cat savvy and calm when they first meet. He would be more comfortable as an only cat.

We are looking for an indoor only home.

CJ has one leg that is not normal, so he had X-rays done. He has an old (completely healed) pelvic fracture. Nothing needs to be done about it now, but he will most likely develop arthritis in the future. He will also need to be monitored for constipation. All you have to do is make sure he is passing excrement once or twice a day and if not give him a laxative daily for prevention. So far it has not been an issue.

He does have one tooth where the gum is inflamed. He will likely need a dental at some point.

CJ is about 4 to 6 years old, litter box trained, neutered, dewormed, has his first vaccines and has been treated for fleas. CJ’s adoption fee is $300.00.

Adoption viewing is available after your application has been approved and by appointment only. If you are interested or have any questions please contact us at 250-414-0233 or sign up to our adoption waitlist www.vacs.ca/adoption/waitlist. Whenever possible, applications will be processed by email.
