Dottie

Dottie is a sassy little Chihuahua looking for her forever family to help her take on the world. She is slow to warm up to new people and dogs. She can be an angry chihuahua but if she is given the time to get to know someone and feel safe, she becomes very sweet. She enjoys being held and curling up on a warm lap.

Dottie thinks she’s a bigger dog than she is. She doesn’t back down when big dogs push her boundaries and she is quick to “defend” the people she loves. She seems to prefer small male dogs.

She is full of energy and is the leader of the little dog pack when they go out for walks. She would be a fantastic hiking companion!

Dottie has such a loving, loyal, and quirky personality. She just loves to make her people smile.

We have not seen her interact with cats or children. Because of her guarded nature, it would be best if she is placed in a home without either.

Dottie has just had most of her teeth removed and will need a canned food only diet.

Dottie is between 6-8 years old, house trained, spayed, microchipped, has her first vaccines and has been treated for fleas. Dottie’s adoption fee is $625.00.
