Dusty loves to be brushed! He has been working on his beautiful coat ever since he arrived at the pound. He was pretty dirty when he arrived here but this guy loves to look his best and really enjoys the help of a good daily brushing. Dusty is a sweet, shy cat and needs a gentle approach. He is happy to just sit next to someone and groom himself or nap. He takes his time getting used to new people, he does not like loud noises and would be best suited to a quieter home as the only pet. We are not sure why Dusty typically greets people with a hiss as he has not been aggressive but once he recognizes you as someone he likes he quickly covers it up with a yawn or just stays still with his mouth open. Dusty is not big on change and takes his time trying new things so he will likely have a long adjustment period when he finds a home. He has a big sweet purr and is prone to love bites during cuddle time.
We are looking for an indoor only home. He is not very adventurous so far and prefers to stay in one room so he will adjust well to an apartment.
Dusty is about 7 years old, litter box trained, neutered, dewormed, has his first vaccines and has been treated for fleas. Dusty’s adoption fee is $300.00.
