Groucho

Breed: Domestic Long Hair

Colour: Black and White

Age: Approx. 10-12 weeks

Sex: Male

Groucho is one of three kittens were rescued from a duct in an abandoned house by some very observant demolition workers! Prior to that moment he had no contact with humans, and since then he has been learning a lot and is well on his way to socialization. Groucho has a ton of personality and spunk - he is a bit of a wild child. He is very curious about other cats and would make a good companion for another lonely feline.

He is still quite shy and he will be a project for the first couple of weeks in his new home. He is very active and playful, but he will need to get to know their new family before he can be pet, picked up or snuggled. He will not be ideal for small children as being grabbed or forced into anything will not be good for the socialization process. He will be best for a cat-savvy person with patience who wants to spend lots of time playing, feeding, and talking to him until he is ready for snuggling. He will need to be set up in a room where he can't hide in places where they can't be reached - such as under the bed - until they are more outgoing. Socializing kittens is very rewarding and we have had lots of fun with these guys so far. With a little time and a lot of love and attention Groucho will grow to be a loving and well-balanced cat.

Groucho would love to meet potential new families but he and his siblings will be at the vet all day on Thursday Jul 30 being spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please come any other day between 10:30-4 to meet him!
