Luna

Luna is a sweet kitty ready to take on the world with her new family. She will often greet new people with a hiss, but this quickly changes to happy chirps and head rubs as soon as she realizes there isn’t a threat.  Luna came to us under very scary circumstances. She was abandoned on the train tracks suffering from a suspected drug overdose. But after an emergency vet visit and some much needed recovery time, Luna is becoming an affectionate and trusting kitty again. She is a bit jumpy with sudden movements but recovers quickly.

Luna is loves to sit on her cat tree and observe the world around her. She loves head rubs, having conversations, and cat nip pillows. However, she is still resistant to being picked up. Luna likes to play and will drag her toys around the pound. She seems a little stiff while playing and may be developing some arthritis.

Luna has a minor skin condition that will require a hypoallergenic diet. We have yet to see how she is around other cats, dogs, or children.

We are looking for an indoor only home or an indoor home with fully contained outdoor access.

Luna is almost 8 years old, litter box trained, spayed, dewormed, has her first vaccines and has been treated for fleas. Luna’s adoption fee is $ 200.00.

Our adoption procedures have changed due to COVID-19. At this time viewing will be done after your application has been approved and by appointment only. If you are interested or have any questions please contact us at 250-414-0233. Whenever possible, applications will be processed by email.
