Pax is a highly trainable, super smart and super friendly young dog. He has been up for adoption for a while now, and this causes most dogs to go "kennel crazy", but Pax is one of the rare dogs whose obedience and behaviour is actually improving. When we first met this exuberant guy, he was a bit of a handful and difficult to walk on leash. With a little consistency and instruction, Pax has turned into a great well-rounded dog who is a pleasure to take for walks. He is exceptionally driven and would be a perfect candidate for specialized training such as agility, flyball, or search and rescue.
He is house trained and knows basic obedience commands. He will need additional training to keep focused on his humans while toys are around, as he loves playing so much he does get distracted. Pax loves everyone he meets, including other dogs.
Pax is such a happy dog. A few of his favourite things:
1. Finding sticks on walks and then carrying them around showing them off to anyone who will notice him.
2. Jumping almost 5 feet into the air to show us he's ready to go on his morning walk.
