When we met Summer she was out in the pouring rain tied up outside a construction site, so she was brought to the pound and and no one came to claim her. She is an affectionate girl who is eager to please and already knows some commands like "sit" and "down". She is high energy and just wants to run and play!
Summer has been taught the house-training basics and knows that she needs to go outside to pee, but she is not old enough yet to be left for long periods of time without potty breaks, as she will make mistakes (and she will feel really bad about it too!). She will need some additional training also to break a couple of typical puppy habits such a jumping up and pulling on the leash.
Because she is at a great age for training and for adjusting to a new home, Summer will be a fantastic addition to any family who is ready for lots of fun and outdoor activites.
