Horton is half pittie, half baby elephant, and 100% full of love! This sweet older man loves to spend time with people. He enjoys making friends on his walks and has learned where to stop for cookies! He would enjoy nothing more than to provide complementary tongue facials to whoever will let him. He is good on the leash once he’s past the initial excitement of getting out the door.
This happy dude is very food motivated and is learning basic commands quickly. The main thing he needs to work on is respecting personal space and not jumping up to smother somebody in kisses.
Horton is about 60 lbs, but he could afford to lose a little weight. Horton is very interested in other dogs but some dogs do not like his lack of personal space. We have not seen him interact with cats. Though Horton would love to play with small humans, he would probably knock them over with his extreme love!
Horton has the usual issues of an older pittie. He has some minor skin sensitivities as well as some arthritis,
Horton is between 8-10 years old, neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, has his first vaccines, and has been treated for fleas. Horton’s adoption fee is $600.00.
