There is one word to describe Wanda: Diva. She is a sassy lady and loves to be the centre of attention. She has been at the pound since September 2014 waiting for her perfect home.
Wanda has been waiting so long because she is not great with strangers, so she doesn't make excellent first impressions. She really needs someone who is going to invest time into getting to know her. She is not afraid to let you know when she disagrees with you and might give you a bossy meow or tail flick, and won't be afraid to give you a swat if she thinks you really deserve it. Most of the time, though, she just wants to be pet and loved. Once she has learned to trust you, you will be rewarded lots of purrs and affection.
Wanda not only has a big personality, but she is also physically size large. She needs to lose a few pounds to be a healthy girl so she'll need a low calorie diet.
Wanda will need an indoor only home with no other cats. She would probably be fine with a cat friendly dog.
