Impound fees are not arbitrary and are not set by VACS. They are set out in each municipality's Animal Control Bylaw and are approved by Mayor and Council.
- When you come to the Pound to claim your animal you will be required to identify yourself with photo ID.
- If you are claiming a dog and it is not licenced, you will also be required to purchase a current licence.
