Alexander Park
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 am & 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Arbutus Park
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- All areas in the park are Leash Optional.
Adjacent beaches are not part of the Leash Optional Area.
Banfield Park
SUMMER: (Apr 1 - Sep 30) Daily: 6:00 am to 9:00 am & 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
WINTER: (Oct 1 - Mar 31) Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

Barnard Park
Daily: 6:30 am to 8:30 am
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Beacon Hill Park - south side of Dallas Rd between Douglas St & Clover Point
Daily: at all times
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Adjacent beaches are not part of the Leash Optional Area.
Clover Point Park
Daily: at all times
- All areas in the park are Leash Optional.
Adjacent beaches are not part of the Leash Optional Area.
Fisherman's Park
Daily: 6:30 am to 8:30 am
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Oaklands Park
Daily: 6:30 am to 9:00 am
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Oswald Park
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Pemberton Park
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
The size of LOA is dependent on whether the baseball outfield fence has been set up.
Redfern Park
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 am & 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Songhees Hilltop
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- All areas in the park are Leash Optional.
Topaz Park - Glasgow Field
Daily: MON - FRI: 6:00 am to 10:00 am & 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Daily: SAT - SUN: 6:00 am to 8:00 am & 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
The Glasgow Field may be used as a LOA only when a Parks Use Permit is not in effect.
Topaz Park - Alternate Area (partially fenced area south of the playground)
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- The LOA is limited to a portion of the park (see posted signs for location details).
Vic West Park - Designated Dog Park (fully fenced with double gate)
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
Vic West Park - Fenced Area adjacent to gravel pathway
Daily: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
